Animate Gears

You must have objects before rotating them on specific attribute for a mechanical motion. So,

• Open your file which you have saved in part 1



• Select one gear object
• Set the Menus to Dynamics Menu Set
• Go to Soft/Rigid Bodies Menu > Create Active Rigid Boy options



• In option’s window Go to Edit Menu and reset settings
• Click create
• Open up the Channel Box
• Change the Initial Spine Y value to 100 or whatsoever speed you need
• Change the center of Mass to 0, 0, 0 in X,Y,Z



• Play the animation from Playback controls
• Next, select the second gear object
• Repeat the same things but this time change the Initial Spine Y to -100 or whatsoever speed you need.

Note: it is necessary to change the value this time in minus (-)

• Done



• Play the animation
