Maya Polygon and Nurbs Modeling Part 1

Polygon and Nurbs Modeling Part 1Here in this tutorial you will learn about the difference between NURBs and Polygonal modeling in Maya. These two are main way of creating modeling. There are separate tools and commands for each one and you have to use them in your modeling. There are shelf menu on the upper side of user interface. Here you can see different primitives about NURBs and Polygonal modeling and tabs above these primitives allows us to choose desired primitives.

You can also get access to these commands by clicking on polygon menu drop down list. The main menu can be set from very right top corner of Maya interface. When you choose main menu, the rest of the setting automatically changes with respect to main menu setting. We can modify the shape of the object by applying basic and primary tools. From channel box, we can also modify the shape by putting appropriate values. When you right click on the object, it offers you a lot of options. Each option is responsible of object modification.
