This video tutorial will teach you how to model a 3d volleyball with polygons in Maya. After this tutorial you will be able to Model general 3d objects with polygons. You are creating Volleyball model in Autodesk Maya.
Volleyball’s model is different from soccer ball or basketball. This video tutorial is of beginner to intermediate level learners of 3d modeling. You will learn new techniques and tools while doing this tutorial. You always in need of some reference image for such kind of modeling, but here you have also given link for downloading the object absolutely free. No projective file is required for this tutorial.
You may download the file volleyball in mb format as well from here…….

In this informative tutorial of 3d modeling in Maya, you will learn about poly modeling of torch in Maya using its tools and commands. For 3d modeling in Maya you should have familiar about 3d characters, because these 3d characters are based on the principle of 3d modeling. At next stage the modeling object needs texture and we shall learn you also about 3d texture in our next tutorials. Poly modeling is among very initial method of 3d modeling and it is easy to create them. In earlier days the computer graphics designs were demonstrated through polygonal shapes. It was the basic and initial kind of modeling with polygonal modeling later on the NURBS and Subdivision modes were added for the progressive expansion in 3d modeling. Although there are many other ways of 3d modeling but still poly modeling is much familiar and easy to use method. In this act, you have to use the face of the object by selecting them and then right click on the object to convert the object into editable poly position. When you select the faces of the object, you can edit, resize and extrude it according the reference image. Go to create menu and using cylinder and cone, you can create the basic shape for torch. Then bring the model into editable poly position and adjust the necessary setting. Once you do that then press “M” to bring material editor. This will help you to assign material to your object. Similarly using attribute editor, choose the color from there for your torch modeling. For bulb light in the torch, create new material and choose blinn for taking color for inner light of torch. The video will help you more to learn the concept.
