What is the Maya polygons modeling

Maya is an in style, node-based 3D software set, evolved from Wave front traveler and Alias Power-Animator by technologies from both. The software used to be free in two versions: Maya total and Maya Unlimited; but is at the present sold as one software.
Polygons are an extensively used model medium owing to its relative stability plus functionality.
Polygons are too the visualization bridge between NURBS plus SubDivs.
NURBS are used for their ready-smooth look plus respond fine to deformations in the Dynamics Workbench. SubDivs look like a combination of both NURBS and polygons, other than they are actually now a smoothed mesh.
They are ready-smooth plus can be manipulated like polygons, resultant in a model of a lot of objects including hands, faces, and other multi-topological constructions.
Maya hair tools cannot be practical to part polygons devoid of previous conversion.
