Importing Video to Maya

Nadeem | Jun 18, 2011 | Comments 0

Importing Video to MayaIn this tutorial of Maya 2010 we shall teach you how to import video for your project. In this lesson we shall talk about image sequence and then play them for animation. The animation is created with time slider and key frame setting. When we open a file, then go to image sequence and check the relevant box as use image sequence. Suppose we have an image in our scene and we want to simulate it. We can animate this image character by using key frame setting. If we want to disappear the character from the scene, then we choose key frame after long distance with quick jump. You can get this file into Maya Binary file after saving this file rendering scène. In this image setting we are not using no vertices, no corner and no edges; we are just working with edges and face of the image. Go to limber then color and check the box for color. Select and drag the geometry of limber to the plane image. The plane image creates wonderful atmosphere with smooth edges, vertices in cuboids shape. Right click on the object and from object properties choose edit mesh and then convert it into edge loop setting. Select the vertices and then move them with select and move tool. You will see that within short time it will become strange and horrible. Once you have created the scene, then save it into your drive with mb format. The details of the concept are shown in this video.
