This is an introductory tutorial about some basic concept of Maya. We are splitting these concepts into different parts and this one is second part where we shall learn about viewport, transform and hotkey. When the object is opened in Maya, there we are in prospective view. We can convert the viewport into four viewports called orthographic viewport. There is button located on the left side of viewport, just click this button and the viewport split into four parts. Each part of viewport shows different point of view about given object.

In this tutorial you will learn about rendering of wireframe in Maya using mental ray. The wireframe is just like basic structure of any model. When the model is created, we can convert it into wire frame mode by pressing 4 from key board and return to shaded mode by 5. This is basic command of Maya model. Here we are taking rough image to demonstrate this concept. Go to create menu and choose polygon primitive and then Helix. This is supposed object for our model which lies at the middle of the grid.
Similarly do the same for each and every step of your scene individually. Take a test rendering and you will see that scene is really awesome but still it doesn’t have shadow. One thing that I forgot to mention here is that save this scene at that time.
